I initially dedicated this blog to natural hair; however, given my expanded audience and review opportunities, I have decided to branch out and focus on an array of product reviews. Reviews of ALL kinds of things from household products to books, from foods to clothes, from personal care items to the latest gadgets - you will find the reviews here. Aside from natural hair, fashion, technology, and fitness, I love music, traveling, and reading.

Product Review - Valhalla Sleep Mask
Everyone needs their beauty sleep and sometimes the lights, or the sun, interferes with that. The Valhalla sleep mask is supposed to remedy that.

Product Review - Coosh Bluetooth Speaker
I love music... it soothes the savage beast, right? Well at work, I need all of the soothing that I can get. I don't always want, or have, the earbuds from my iPod in my ears so what's the next best thing? A bluetooth speaker!

Product Review - Clean Food Diet
I came across an amazing recipe book, that I think even my daughter will be able to use.
Te Clean Food Diet, by Jonathan Vine, has tons of healthy, natural, and CLEAN recipes to use. From desserts to soups to salad... from appetizers to main dishes, there's something that will definitely pique your interest.
The beginning of the ebook walks you through what to eat and how to eat, as well as cook clean. This is a great recipe book, especially given that I am on the road to becoming a vegetarian (currently a pescetarian, as of September 1, 2014). The preface for each recipe helps you to understand why he included it in the book and why you should consider trying it.
After perusing through the book, I would have to say that the following are my favorite recipes... the ones that I can't wait to try:
Appetizer: Wrapped Mango and Spinach Bites
One thing that I would say could be better with this book is having pictures for each recipes. There's maybe one or two pictures for each category. Another thing I would say is that there were a few unnecessary recipes, like chocolate covered strawberries, in it. I can't say that this takes away from my love for the book; however, upon reading the recipe, I thought to myself how it was a waste of a read and space in the book.
Anywho, check out this awesome recipe ebook on Amazon by clicking here. I'm not sure how long it will last but his other recipe ebook, Best Healthy Vegan Holiday Recipes: Christmas recipes, is currently FREE!
Check me out on Facebook, Kinky Kinetik, Twitter, Tweet Kinky and on YT, KinkyKinetik.

Product Review - 3D Fiber Lash Mascara Set by Mia Adora
I have never been into false lashes. I barely wear makeup! Sporadically I'll indulge in some mascara and eye shadow; however, that's about it. Needless to say, I haven't jumped on board of the lash-wearing trend; however, I thought to give the 3D Fiber Lash Mascara set a try.

Product Review - Sari Foods Organic Spirulina Powder
I've been on this sort of health kick. Rather, I kicked up my previous health kick. Part of my overall health and well-being is attributed to the smoothies that I drink. I've added things like flax seed, chia seeds, supplements, honey, and more to my smoothies. Recently, I was sent a bag of Sari Food's Organic Spirulina Powder.

Product Review - Off Balance: The American Way of Health
I. LOVE. THIS. BOOK!
There! I'm completely done with my review of the book!
Then again... I know that I have to give you more.
Let's just start with a little background about me. I don't like to take drugs. Not the legal or illegal kind. Cramps, headache, backache, whatever - I deal with the pain. Why? Because I know that what they prescribe isn't good for us! As for foods, there's a lot that I make it my business to avoid and I am also working on getting rid of other things in my diet (16 days without chicken or turkey, over a decade without pork and beef). So believe me when I say that I wholeheartedly agreed with the perspective of Leyla Ali, PharmD, as I read Off Balance - The American Way of Health.
The book is written by a former pharmacist and has A LOT of information that you already may have considered or know. It has in-depth interviews with survivors of dis-ease, as well as those that used to me in the Western Medicine field, and are now practicing more "alternative" methods of healing, such as Traditional Chinese Medicine, Homeopathy, and Ayurveda, to name a few.
Overall, this book is amazing and I am thankful to have a hard copy. If you see it, BUY IT!! I actually told my 10-year-old that she needs to read it, given her interest in becoming a physician, curing Leukemia, and because there is a lot of information contained within the pages that I have already shared with her PRIOR to reading the book. This is officially a holy grail for me and I definitely plan to read it through AGAIN! If you are looking to increase your overall health, as well as to gain insight about the medical industry, I strongly suggest this book! You can buy it by clicking here.

My book already has worn pages... that proves it's repeated use!
One of my favorite chapters is the "Emotions" chapter. I have highlighted and taken notes all through the book; however, I paid special attention to this chapter as I feel as though it is more beneficial to me. There is a chart that tells you how acidic or alkaline foods are, very helpful, and there are breakdowns of different types of medicines and therapies.Overall, this book is amazing and I am thankful to have a hard copy.
