  3. I detangle with my fingers first and then a wide tooth comb. Sometimes I use the annie version of a denman if I want my daughters curls to look a little tighter. With my son I finger on top and wide tooth comb in the back, I use a denman tangle tamer if I want it to be slicked down.

  14. Because I can't find a "safe" brush to detangle my hair. I currently detangle with a wide tooth comb while I still have conditioner in my hair. I used to have an absolutely wonderful brush that my sister purchased for me from Sally's many years ago but the brush broke one day and it was then that I found out Sally's no longer carries the brush and I haven't been able to find it any where else.
If the Kinky Kinetik is half as good as my long gone fave brush, I would love to be the winner of this "new" hair item.

  15. I usually use Tresseme Naturals condish, and my fingers or a wide tooth comb to detangle, but I've noticed that my ends aren't getting the special attention they need. I would love the opportunity to try the knot genie to see if it can give my ends the love and attention they deserve.

  20. Detangling my hair is an entire process.I have to do it only after I have conditioned it and while it's still very wet otherwise it gets very frizzy.I then use a brush or a wide-toothed comb and I do small sections at a time.I have to use one hand on the brush or comb and the other to hold my hair tightly so that it doesn't hurt. When I have big knots at the ends I have to chop them off. It's horrible, just horrible.
