Product Review - Summit Nutrition Whey Protein Isolate

Given that I don't eat meat, meaning poultry, beef, and/or pork, I have to find alternate ways to get protein.  I tried the dutch chocolate flavored pure whey protein isolate from Summit Nutritions.

While there is a bit of an aftertaste, the mix that I made wasn't half bad.  I used honey vanilla almond milk, instead of regular milk or water.  I shook it in a glass jar, as opposed to blending it, to save time.  It mixes in fairly quickly with liquids and definitely does have a chocolate-like taste. My only peeve, is the aftertaste, which I guess you can eventually get used to.

The three-pack, which I was sent, goes on Amazon for $7.99, which isn't bad considering how much you can spend on a smoothie full of crap.  The great thing is that it is soy and lactose free.  Oh, it is non-GMO too!  You can check it out on Amazon by clicking here.  You can purchase the dutch chocolate or the alpine vanilla flavor.
