So, as part of the natural hair community, we know of the benefits of argan oil when used on our hair. I was given the opportunity to review UNi's 100% pure, organic Moroccan argan oil.
The label of the UNi argan oil indicates that it can be used on cuticles, as a body moisturizer, on split ends, and to soothe rough patches on your elbows, knees, and feet. Although I did use it on my scalp and hair a few times, I wanted to especially try the argan oil on my knees, elbows, and heels. Now don't think that I am walking around with EXTRA dry skin!! LOL. I just wanted to see how helpful argan oil, when applied to certain areas, could be.
So, overall, I liked the argan oil. While it is not the best smelling oil (it has like a nutty, earthy smell), it did moisturize my elbows, heels, and knees really well. The argan oil helped to soften then, which of course is a plus in my book.
It was soothing on the scalp and it gave me a bit of moisture there as well, especially given that at times my scalp is dry.
Would I use this argan oil until all gone? Most definitely! For my next deep condition, I am going to use a few drops of the argan oil to add a few beneficial vitamins and nutrients to my hair. If interested, check UNi out by clicking here.
