Product Review - Curva Artisan Double Wall Glasses

I was in dire need of some new glasses.  Yup, I broke quite a few, so I jumped at the opportunity to be able to review the double wall glasses by Curva.

The Curva Artisan double wall glasses are too cute.  They come in eight ounces and are noted to be freezer, dishwasher, and microwave safe.  I haven't tested it in the microwave, as I am against those cancer causing machines; however, I did keep it in the the freezer for an hour, with sorbet in it, and it was fine.  They are also noted to be heat resistant, shatter-resistant, and stronger than regular glass.  


I dropped one on the floor to test it and guess what... it DID break!  Friggin one glass down, three more to go I guess. Hmph.  It fell less than three feet and still broke.  :-/

All four glasses are "curved" differently and keep hands cool when filled with hot drinks.

As you can see above, I have the glasses all filled.  About room temperature water, pomegranate iced tea, frozen sorbet, and hot tea filled the glasses... they held up to temperature expectations.

Overall I think the classes are cute.  They come in a larger size as well.  While they may be pricey for some, a little over $20, they work well... unless you drop them.  They are online and in store at some retailers.  The three that I have left have a permanent home in my cupboard!  Not sure if I will search for a solo glass to replace the broken one.  Check them out on Amazon by clicking here.
