Yup, I'm doing another review Kinkies!!! So, my daughter had to help me out with this review given that I was sent two facial products at the same time and given that I have a deadline to complete reviews, I had to improvise... so I gave the less harsher, more natural product to my daughter.
So, I was sent the My Konjac Sponge for review. I really, really wanted to try this sponge as I know how awesome activated charcoal is. In the past, it has helped me. Mixed with bamboo, I was sure it would work well. Fast forward to about two weeks after my daughter has been using it...
Now my daughter feels as though it has not helped her. She feels as though she had a reaction to it. I do have to admit that there are a few tiny bumps that has continued to spread across her forehead, aside from the original acne that I was trying to free her face of. I originally wanted her to try it because she's going through puberty, and you know how that can be, so I figured a natural alternative would help her. She doesn't wear her hair in her face so I know that doesn't really contribute to her breakouts but foods and hormones can affect the face. I was hoping that the sponge would work wonders... Unfortunately it didn't work as well as I hoped for. The pimples that she did have on her face do appear smaller; however, there are more bumps present...
I can't say for others not to try it because as I have said before, what works for me may not work for you, and vice versa. After I finish the review of the soap that I am using, I may try to us the sponge myself and see the results that I get. I'm convinced that it has to work and I have to prove myself right or wrong.
If you are interested in checking out the sponge, click here. It's biodegradable, natural, and vegan. If you check it out, let me know how it works for you.
